Adding windows + quantities

Fast entry tips and how to stay under the "window sizes / job" limit.

Use quantity instead of duplicates

If the same size appears multiple times, keep one row and increase quantity. This keeps jobs cleaner and avoids hitting limits.

What "window sizes / job" means

This is the number of unique size rows you can include in one optimization. It is not the total number of panes.

Ways to split a large job

  • Group by floor (1st floor, 2nd floor)
  • Group by elevation (north/south/east/west)
  • Group by room type (offices, conference rooms, storefront)
  • Run separate optimizations for separate film types

Common input gotchas

  • Make sure width/height are entered consistently (don't swap them).
  • Round the same way every time (e.g., to the nearest 1/8").
  • Label groups clearly so the installer can match the plan to the job.
