Terms of Service
Effective date: January 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Precision Film Systems™ website and application (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Precision Film Systems™ LLC ("Precision Film Systems™", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for all activity on your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe.
2) Subscriptions, billing, and Paddle
Subscriptions and certain purchases (such as add-on credits) are processed by Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for payments, taxes, invoices, and receipts. Your purchase may be governed by Paddle's buyer terms in addition to these Terms.
- Plans renew monthly until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime. Access continues through the end of the current billing period (see Cancellation and Refunds Policy).
- No refunds: All fees and purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (see Cancellation and Refunds Policy).
- We may change pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice, and changes apply at renewal unless otherwise stated.
3) Optimizations, limits, and credits
Plans include a monthly number of optimizations and a maximum number of window dimensions per job. In general:
- An "optimization" is a run that generates a cut plan.
- Monthly plan limits reset on your subscription anniversary each month.
- Add-on credits (if purchased) are used only after monthly plan limits are exhausted and may expire after a stated period (currently 6 months).
We may enforce limits to protect performance and prevent abuse (e.g., rate limiting). Attempts to bypass limits are prohibited.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or non-public system behavior beyond what the Service exposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including excessive automated requests, scraping, or probing).
- Upload or store content you do not have the right to use.
5) Your content and job data
You retain ownership of the job information you enter into the Service (such as window sizes, group labels, and customer/job notes). You grant us a limited license to process that information to provide and improve the Service.
6) Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, UI, and underlying optimization methods, is owned by Precision Film Systems™ LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of any of our intellectual property.
7) Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we aim for accurate plans and outputs, you are responsible for verifying dimensions and results before cutting. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Precision Film Systems™ LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
9) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service, users, or legal compliance.
10) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll provide reasonable notice (e.g., on the website or by email). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11) Contact
