Why diagrams matter

A diagram turns "shop knowledge" into a repeatable workflow. That means new employees can cut correctly without guessing, and experienced installers stay consistent under pressure.

How to follow a cut diagram

1. Start at the roll edge shown (left or right).
2. Measure the window width and mark the cut line.
3. Pull down the window height (length) and cut off the piece.
4. Keep or discard strips exactly as labeled in the instructions.

Use the window list for organization

• Match each cut to its group/room label.
• Use the list as a checklist to prevent missed panes.

Training tip

Have the trainee cut using the diagram + list for a week. It removes the mental gymnastics and builds consistent habits fast.
